Welcome to your Saturday Spankings! Again this week, while I am waiting for my first book at the publishers, I am posting a piece from my current WIP. This is a domestic discipline book which involves Mac who has been cutting and Ryan, the EMT who rescued her and has fallen in love with her. Ryan has introduced domestic discipline into their relationship as a behavior modification tool for her self-mutilation and for other house rules. In this scene, Mac is preparing for a punishment for breaking one of the rules.
“Little girl, you will not roll your eyes at me, let alone do it in the middle of a punishment; apologize, now.”
“I’m sorry; I didn’t even know I did it.”
Make sure you go to the other author blogs and read their snippets!! Enjoy your Saturday.
Wow. That's taking on a serious topic — self-mutilation.
It is a serious topic, but I have three friends who have teen girls dealing with this. It seems to be an epidemic today among teen girls. Breaks your heart and one day I thought mmmmm maybe…… I'm trying. It has taken a LOT of research.
I eye roll all the time and don't notice! It's hard to control!
Yeah I am a chronic eye roller from waaaaaaay back. I don't realize I do it either. Husband hates it. But I am taking Sunny's advice and closing my eyes. LOL
Maybe she should learn to just close her eyes so he doesn't see the eye roll. 🙂
That made me choke on my coffee, I am using that one!! Should keep ME out of trouble that way!! Chronic eye roller here!!
Now he's serious about this – a very hard habit to break.
Yeah, I haven't broken the eye roll yet!! LOL
I hate eye rolls. 10 years of middle school kids turned me against them. That's not to say I don't occasionally do it myself, but I understand the aversion.
If we ever get to meet someday, I will be sure to control my eye rolls in front of you. LOL
I like your courage in your topic. Modern living seems to be bringing in so many issues, eating disorders, sexual addiction, poor self image, internet addiction, self harm etc. The world is changing so quickly and at times it can be hard to tackle these issues. Good for you, Megan.
Thanks, Tara. I am hoping I can tackle it and convey the severity.
Wish i could get this book fora serious cutter i know it might help her.
I'm thinking she's going to roll her eyes again. It is a hard habit to break– LOL!
Oh no! This eye rolling thing is completely uncontrollable. It is, take my word for it. Someone's in trouble. Hope her backside doesn't suffer unduly, lol!!!
Old habits are hard to break. I hope he goes easy on her.
