F = Figging

I love figging.  I remember the first time I was exposed to it was on Spankingtube (God I love that website).  So I showed the husband, and I think he skipped and ran down the driveway immediately to the store to buy ginger.

I remember being very nervous, but was amazed at how much I loved it.  It stings, but it’s not unbearable.  Of course, because he’s a typical guy and a DOM (and an engineer) he had to monkey with it–twisting, turning, pushing, prodding, etc.  And every time, it would cause a reaction which of course was just the positive reinforcement he needed to keep effing around with it.

Seriously, aren’t you curious. Try it at least once!!

However, there is a caveat to this.  Last year Maren Smith did a post on ginger and mentioned “fermented” ginger.  Well, we had to try it. So the husband prepared it and put it in a baggie and let it sit for 3-4 days.

In my book The Little Princess Cruise, Jace used fermented ginger with Gabby for a punishment.  I tried to explain the way it felt. I have to say it had me rocking on the bed.

The sting was so intense I literally could not stay still. He started to press and prod the ginger, but once he saw my reaction, he decided to leave me alone. (Thank God!)  But because the husband has an evil streak = Dom, he left it in for about twenty minutes of pure hell. Even after he took it out, the sting and burn continued I’m guessing for about two hours. To say the least, we haven’t tried it again.  He did say at one point though, “Wow, it looks like I know what to use for punishment.”  Now that I think about it, I think he has forgotten.  🙂

Let’s just say the traditional method of figging is my favorite.  Seriously if you haven’t tried it, peel some ginger and let the husband have some fun.   And trust me, you’ll love the effects.  The warmth and “special goodness” spreads to the whole area.  It’s amazing.

Happy Figging!!
